Known as the lady with the ‘magic hands’, her designs are known for their glamour, elegance, sophistication, luxurious fabrics and pristine fit, combining classical elements with a contemporary edge. In 2012, Casey Jeanne was awarded the Vukani Fashion Awards National Best Collection and overall title winner as well as the national winner for the Live Out Loud Young Designer Bridal Awards.

She also took the titles of Gateway’s Durban July Preview Show Recycled Designer Winner as well as first place at the Young Designer Awards in Sandton in the same year. She then went on to design 2009 Top Billing Presenter Search winner, Kelly Parkhurst’s wedding gown at the end of 2012. Shortly after that, Casey was awarded runner up at the national Wedding Expo Young Designer competition.
She was also awarded first place at the 2013 Vodacom Durban July Fashion Challenge and the following year was hand selected as one of the Vodacom Durban July’s premium Invited Designers.
In 2014 Casey was selected to showcase at South African Fashion week two seasons in a row with a successful partnership with Edgars being born. One of Casey’s proudest accolades was being nominated for the KZN Young Achiever Awards where she took home first prize in the Arts and Design category.
Casey studied Fashion & Textiles at the Durban University of Technology, where she received the National Research Foundation Award and completed her Masters degree at the end of 2015. Most recently, Casey was nominated as one of the best bridal gown designers in South Africa, and later won the first prize title in a black-tie awards ceremony in Sandton, Johannesburg as part of the Top Vendor Wedding Awards 2016. Her inspirational attitude and passion is a driving force in making Casey Jeanne one of South Africa’s leading young persons to watch.
